History
For more than 15 years, the Rencontres de Chimie Organique has brought together young chemists from the Paris area and has allowed them to share their research results. These annual meetings were initiated by Prof. Gérard Cahiez with the support of the Ile-de-France section of the French Chemical Society (SCF).
From their creation, the RCO conference has taken place at several universities and research centers of Ile-de-France, and has attracted an impresive number of internationally recognized plenary speakers:
